RAKC

So, you are looking at the new advisor for the RAKC at my school. That's the Random Acts of Kindness Club. It happened on the very day is listed my last entry. I could use some ideas or website that have ideas. Our club has a little bit of money, but the emphasis here is low cost ideas. We're trying to start simple and grow from there.

Perhaps students can go to a local old people's home and give them a free concert? Or arrange for students to visit them for an hour every other week?

Or bake some good stuff and go down to the local church and give out to those who need it...

Or have Homework circle where students help each other with reading, maths or other homework.

Those are awesome ideas. A free concert? Hmmmm...I could talk to the band director to see if we could set that up. Thank you for the ideas.

You don't even need to have a band... if you can get a bunch of kids that can sort of sing in tune - and maybe someone with a guitar, then you've got your concert! :-)
